Shareen and Philippa have over 30 years experience between them and are both dedicated professionals who enjoy working with children and families to achieve positive outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shareen Taylor<\/h3>\"\"<\/div><\/div>
\t\t\t

Shareen is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and with Medicare as a service provider. Shareen has over 19 years experience working in both health and education settings and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Shareen initially began her career working in Adult Mental Health services, and supported individuals facing many challenges including depression, anxiety and psychotic disorders. In 2006 she moved to London and began working as the Head of Special Needs in an Inner London secondary school where she worked with children with a variety of needs including ASD, ADHD\/ADD, Speech and Language Disorders, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health issues and Behavioural Disorders. On her return to Australia in 2012 Shareen worked as the School Psychologist and Therapy Team Leader for Autism Queensland and in 2013 made the move to private practice. Shareen enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults and families and has a special interest in ASD, anxiety and behaviour issues. Shareen is passionate about early intervention and is comfortable working collaboratively with educational institutions and other health practitioners to support individuals holistically. Shareen is an accredited Circle of Security Parenting DVD Trainer, Helping Children With Autism Early Intervention\/NDIS service provider and an experienced ASD assessor (ADOS). Shareen practises from CBT, ACT and solution focused frameworks and believes that tailoring therapy to individual need is paramount to making progress.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dr Philippa McTaggart<\/h3>\"\"<\/div><\/div>

Philippa has worked for more than 15 years in clinical psychology with children and families. \u00a0She enjoys working with a wide range of presenting problems, and has expertise in developing a treatment plan that is tailored to the needs of your family. She is particularly skilled in providing support for behavioural problems in children and teenagers; anxiety or sadness in children and teens; parenting challenges; and school or social concerns.\u00a0Philippa worked for many years in the Parenting and Family Support Centre at the University of Queensland and she is trained and experienced in delivering the Triple P \u2013 Positive Parenting Program. \u00a0Philippa obtained her undergraduate psychology degree from Griffith University, and then completed a clinical PhD at the University of Queensland. \u00a0She has full registration with the\u00a0Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and their clinical college. \u00a0Philippa also provides supervision to intern psychologists at the\u00a0University of Queensland,\u00a0and she has accreditation within the Supervisor Training and\u00a0Accreditation Program (STAP). \u00a0She\u00a0is mum to 2 (mostly) delightful teenagers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
